Should You Get a Cavoodle in 2021?

Demir D. - November 18, 2020
Cavoodle

Yes, you should because Cavoodles are great beginner dogs! They’re easy to train, and can be taught a variety of tricks. Cavoodles are also fast learners. It is so easy to train them with all sorts of commands. In addition, they’re low shed, which is great for people who suffer from allergies. They’re also generally inside dogs so they will be quite content to stay in the house most of the time. One of the biggest reasons why Cavoodles are one of Australia’s most popular dog breeds is because they’re a designer breed. Cavoodles are a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle and this gives them the combined traits as well as the genes of both parents. Of course, this also makes them really adorable and sweet as well – a winning combination indeed!

What Makes Cavoodles Special Anyway?

cavoodleFirst of all, Cavoodles are in high demand in Australia so finding a breeder to get a Cavoodle from is very easy. Prices will vary from breeder to breeder but you can generally find Cavoodle puppies for reasonable prices. Trust us when we say Cavoodles are worth any price tag though!

An important quality that sets Cavoodles apart from other, similar dog breeds is their hypoallergenic fur. They were bred to shed little to no fur which means that the dander that sticks to dog fur doesn’t get released into the air and cause issues for people suffering from allergies, hay fever or asthma.  They are also known as great school and therapy dogs. Having therapy dogs is very beneficial in reducing anxiety, lifting mood, and developing ability to form bonds. Since Cavoodles are so friendly and have such a loving temperament, this makes them perfect companions!

You can also take Cavoodles to practically any dog friendly park in Australia. They’re always up for a game of fetch and you can even train them to do agility courses! Many families choose to get a Cavoodle because they’re great with children. They are very gentle, and see children as their playmates. This means that if they are raised right, they will play but won’t nip or bite. This makes them great for any kind of family.

They Are Really Cute and Sweet!

This is not just about having the perfect combination of luxurious coats, floppy ears, and large eyes. Cavoodles’ entire look, when combined with their gentle nature is what makes them so adorable. While we believe that all dogs and puppies are cute, Cavoodles are on an entirely different level!

Cavoodles also absolutely adore humans. They get along very well with both adults and children. They are not just gentle but they are also very affectionate as well. They love to follow their family around and miss them greatly when they’re away. While they do need a little bit of exercise everyday, they also love to simply hang out and snuggle.

Cavoodles Don’t Have Major Health Problems

Since they were bred to be healthy, there are no major health issues specific to the Cavoodle breed. They may be predisposed to some dental disease or ear infections but these can easily be avoided with special care. They tend to live up to 15 years without many complications.

Getting one of these cute little dogs is one of the best decisions you can ever make. They are sweet and caring and it’s a joy to take care of them.
